SAND AND BLASTING

Sandblasting is a very effective system of abrasive cleaning as projecting solid particles at high pressure on the surface to be treated, descaling rust, peeling paint, dirt and other contaminants very effectively. Depending on the abrasive used, they will be obtained in varying degrees of texture the treated surface. For parts to be painted, it is used a more aggressive abrasive, which in addition to cleaning the piece, gives a roughness to the surface that considerably improves the anchorage and paint adhesion. Studies show that painted parts, which have been treated with sand or grit, better resist testing paint adhesion, impact resistance and corrosion resistance.

Through the process of sandblasting or blasting with a suitable pickling metal supports for the adhesion of different painting processes is achieved. Widely used in body painting by stripping or remove the oxidized surface. Sanding or sandblasting is also used for accelerating the oxidation weathering steel. Depending on abrasive grain size and the projected pressure we have very different roughness finishes. In this way we can stop smooth satin finishes or have a rough relief. You can clean or sandblast any metallic element: fences, gates, ornamental elements, restorations of motorcycles or cars, industrial and agricultural machinery, container cranes.

The treated surface is uniform, with a series of peaks and valleys similar to those achieved with the granulated.

Recommended for any use in the exterior and interior of the buildings, although not particularly recommended for indoor flooring for its rough surface.
